关于不同功用建筑的不同观察方法，三段式结构。
第一段是关于在北京怀柔区的某个艺术区，每一间工作室共同的特征就是简陋和潜在的流动性，寂静的背后有种说不清的不安情绪。居住在这里的人每个人有各自的不安的心思，类似的建筑结构承载了他们的心绪，在若干个方型盒子里，他们度过这一年的乡居生活。
第二段是2013年在昌平区小汤山镇历时 7 天建造的非典医院。医院建成后立即投入使用。非典事件结束后这座功能完备的医院被遗弃在小汤山，一座功能完备的社会机构从此被隔绝于社会生活之外，在自然力量的攻击下，这座应急医院曾经发生的一切被野草、秋风、落雨掩埋。
影片的最后段落拍摄的是一位从某看守所出来的年轻人对那个他生活过一个月的建筑的回忆，包括空间和他的生活流程。
Different observation methods for different functional buildings, three-stage structure. The first paragraph is about an art district in Huairou District, Beijing. The common feature of each studio is simplicity and potential mobility. There is a kind of uneasy emotion behind the silence. Everyone who lives here has their own uneasy minds. Similar architectural structures carry their minds. In a number of square boxes, they spend their hometown life this year. The second paragraph is the SARS hospital that was built in 7 days in Xiaotangshan Town, Changping District,Beijing in 2013. The hospital was put into use immediately after it was built. After the SARS incident, this well-functioning hospital was abandoned. A well-functioning social institution was isolated from social life. Under the attack of natural forces, everything that happened in this emergency hospital was weeded. Autumn wind, falling rain buried. The final passage of the film is a recollection of a young man from a detention center about the building he lived for a month, including space and his life processes.
