海盗与王船

曾纵横马六甲海峡的“海王”陈连礼（陈德辉），曾在马来西亚霹雳州与印尼峇眼亚比的海域称霸行凶，留下的故事融合了历史、传说与神话。田野历史工作者李永球从霹雳追踪至峇眼亚比，探查这位从枭雄到通缉海盗，最终被奉为神明的传奇经历。从日据时期到英殖民时代，他的故事穿越历史与民间信仰，并持续影响当地社群。《海盗与王船》也穿插峇眼亚比一年一度的烧王船仪式，是邱涌耀与李永球继《峇峇球》后的再次合作。

The notorious “Pirate King” Tan Lian Lay once ruled the waters of Perak and Bagan Siapi-Api. Field researcher Lee Eng Kew retraces how this feared outlaw became a hunted man and later a deity. Blending history, legend, and ritual, the story still shapes communities today.
