本片主要讲述一位山歌群群主农瑞群和他的山歌群在2019年年节期间发生的故事。在广西左江流域的小县城龙州，有许多活跃在线上线下的壮族山歌歌手。他们在线上组建山歌群，利用业余时间对歌。农瑞群就是其中一个山歌群的群主，他退休后除了带孙子，就是积极参与各种和山歌有关的事——组织群友聚会、参加歌圩，或者整理歌本。但邻近年关，他却发现找不到人对歌了......
This film tells a story about an administrator of a Wechat-group, which gathers a lot of folk-singers of the Zhuang people who sings folk songs through Wechat-group on the Internet. The Zhuang people have their Gexu as some places to sing antiphons in tradition, now the form of Gexu have changed. The cellphones take the place of natural spaces for people to sing together.
