新冠疫情期间，被困家中的父亲，也就是导演本人，试图通过每天为三岁儿子洗澡洗头来修复父子关系。儿子因恋母情结依恋母亲、抗拒父亲，使父亲产生嫉妒。封控生活中的争吵、分离、吃药、核酸检测与疫苗接种，让两人逐渐靠近。父亲也反思传统观念、男性面子、教育缺陷，以及弟弟出生后新的家庭情感变化。
